Movie Review - Yagam (0.5/5)

Navdeep did an awesome job in the movie, but the serious role did not suit him. Kim Sharma and Bhumika Chawla did well too.

Story and screenplay of the movie are horrible. Story is not fully developed. The flashback is too plain. Movie is a routine “you killed someone I love, so I’m going to do the same back” story. There is nothing new about it.

Being a fan of Navdeep, I didn’t feel sympathetic towards the loss of his character’s girl friend. A story should make one feel connect with the characters, which is completely missing in the movie.

Ajay's and Harsha's comedy is just okay and too repetitive. The first three kills should have been much more interesting, instead they are too boring to watch. However, the narration style of the murders is interesting, even though it was similar to the one in Adurs.

Overall: Waste of time, unless you are a huge fan of Navdeep, even then it might not be a treat.

Comments while watching the movie:

* Navdeep is looking good.
* Not too artificial stunts. The ropes area little less obvious
* Not liking Navdeep in a serious role, especially after Chandamama.
* Wonder why Ali played the role of priest, because it is usually Bhramanandam.
* 1st song is a rip off from Salaam Namaste where there is a wedding on the beach and everyone strips into swim suits and sings and dances.
* Dream? Is he some psychic or he murdered him (I saw it in a poster)? He is probably remembering his past, a horrible one.
* Ajay is doing well, along with harsha.
* The girl’s murder can totally be ruled as accident.
* Murder with sunglass lens. I hope airports won’t band glass on the plane now. Lol
* Flashback song is nice.
* Bhumika, you can go straight to the cops, instead telling someone you want to go to the cops.
* Last kill was not impressive.
