Opinion:
The book is way better. The concept and stories of the werewolves not clearing explained. Also, the gift for Edward makes it harder for the audience to enjoy the movie. They should have let the audience hear what Edward was hearing.
The movie felt too cramped. There is no chance to attach to any of the characters. Movies cannot overtake our imaginations of the books as they are merely a compliment.
Overall: Don’t expect must. Just take the movie as a compliment to the book.
