It’s a pure action movie, with almost no comedy. It is a surprise seeing a movie by Puri Jagannadh that has no comedy track. However, no unnecessary comedy track is what made the movie interesting.
Story of police turning into a villain is the quite opposite of what we saw in Pokiri. Similar thing is seen in Operation Dhuryodana, where a police turns into a politician. Because of the story, the movie is not appealing to anyone besides action lovers.
Gopichand did an excellent job, like usual. For the first time it was awkward seeing Gopichand without Anushka. Anushka and Gopichand make a great pair. Anyways, Priyamani’s voice might take some time getting used to. Roja did a good job with ‘power’ in her role.
2 Best dialogues in the movie: (1) “Asalu abbayilu I Love You cheppithe, memu No anthem, adhi maa rights. Memu adhigithe No ela chepputharu?” (2) When hero explains to the heroine that he might get killed any time, the heroine says “aa bhathikinanallu naatho vundhu ra”.
Overall: Good action movie and better than Puri’s recent. Good for one time watch.
