Movie Review - Andari Bandhuvaya (3/5)
I enjoyed watching the movie immensely; however, I felt that the main two characters, Nandu (Sharwanand) and Padma (Padma Priya), are too good to be true. Same with most of the other characters in the movie, like the villain, Naresh, NRI and so on. For that reason, this is not a movie that can be watched multiple times. It might even not be liked in the first place by some.
Sharwanand did a good job in his role. His movies have been good watchers since Gamyam, which is good to hear for a growing actor. His performance when Naresh was about to say goodbye to him is excellent. Until that point it was just another movie, but with his action I felt his emotion in the movie, which is simply superb. We can expect great movies from this wonderfully natural actor.
Padma Priya was okay. She isn’t looking good for a heroine, yet there were some scenes where she looks awesome. Don't expect to see her in any more movies, but if she does act in another movie, she needs work on her emotions a lot as they are too artificial.
NRI’s interaction with Padma is a good laugh. Naresh was good as the hero’s father – can’t say much about an experienced actor like him.
Overall: It’s a movie far from reality. One might like it if they like 'too good to be true' characters.
